The 80 minute L.A.B. Sessions [Learn|Access|Build] can provide a one-off interactive opportunity to focus students around a social issue or act as the starting point for a project-based learning opportunity, in which students actively explore real-world problems and challenges and acquire a deeper knowledge.

Documentary Media Month
Documentary Media Month (1st-30th November) is an annual programme of FREE events and workshops covering 4 areas:
documentary film documentary photography documentary audio documentary new media The 2017 theme is global citizens dedicated to showcasing real people, real places and real events around the world.
The documentary film programme is the 8th Leicester Docfilm Festival.
The Documentary Media Centre will be hosted on the 1st Floor of 10 Bishop Street, Leicester LE1 6AF – thanks to the Zinthiya Trust charity for the use of their space throughout November’s programme.
ALL events are FREE to attend.

FGM – 4 hour newsroom to report on UN International Day of FGM for Zinthiya Trust charity – 6th February 2017
Conflict Reportage – research that explores the changing role of war reporting from 1914 to the present day.
Datum International Development – international development project supporting NGO’s across South America, Africa, South Asia and South East Asia.
