Orphan Black is a Canadian science fiction television series created by Graeme Manson and directed by John Fawcett. The main character Sarah Manning played by Tatiana Maslany finds out she is actually a clone, after taking the identity of a woman who is one of her clones. She then plays the whole series as her different clones, Tatiana won Female Breakthrough Performance at the Young Hollywood Awards in 2013 from her outstanding work in the series. It focusses on issues about the moral and ethical implications of human cloning and its effects on issues of personal identity. The first season was received so well by the audience, they shortly after started filming season two. The series was filmed in a number of places including Toronto, Ontario and Canada. Orphan Black was first broadcast in Canada but shortly after was aired in American and then the UK.
